You are an essential part of an efficient and talented team, responsible for laundering linens, cleaning rugs, carpets, draperies, floors and transporting trash to disposal areas. Housekeeping Cart Runners directly support Housekeeping in maintaining the hotel in sparkling condition!

Position Summary
The Cart Runner is responsible for the timely distribution of clean linen and terry to designated linen rooms throughout the hotel, as well as the removal of dirty linen, terry, and trash. This position requires operating a golf cart with an attached trailer in various weather conditions to support housekeeping and laundry operations.
Qualifications & Skills
Ability to safely operate a golf cart and trailer
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Strong time management and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Attention to safety and cleanliness standards
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
Frequent bending, walking, standing, and lifting
Ability to work extended periods outdoors
The Brass Tacks
Provide guests with professional, efficient, prompt, and courteous service
Deliver clean linen and terry to six (6) designated linen rooms, ensuring items are divided equally
Operate a golf cart with trailer safely in all weather conditions
Collect and transport dirty linen and terry from linen rooms to the laundry facility
Haul trash to designated disposal areas as assigned
Ensure linen rooms remain organized and properly stocked
Follow all safety procedures when operating equipment and handling linen
Communicate supply needs or issues to supervisors promptly
Maintain cleanliness and organization of carts, trailers, and work areas
Maintain supplies and organization of housekeeping carts
Maintain supplies and organization of linen rooms
Check all linen rooms and report any damage, repair needs, or loss of supplies
Monitors cleanliness of all public areas both inside and out on property.
Attend all mandatory staff meetings and training sessions
Greet and warmly engage guests.
Complete tasks as assigned by Housekeeping Manager and/or General Manager
The Nitty Gritty
Prior housekeeping or related cleaning experience preferred
Ability to safely operate a golf cart and trailer
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, indoor and outdoor hotel property areas
Strong time management and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Attention to safety and cleanliness standards
Desire to work in a fast-paced role
Available to work weekends and holidays
