NAES Corporation has an immediate opening for a Plant Manager to provide operational leadership and strategic oversight of the Altavista Biomass Power Station.
The Altavista Biomass Power Station is a renewable energy facility in the Lynchburg, VA metro region, in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The facility has 51 MW capacity and is equipped with two B&W boilers, a Mitsubishi steam turbine, and an Alstom generator generating electricity from biomass. NAES has a long-standing operating history with the regulated electric utility owning the station. The plant’s generation is included as a valuable resource in the utility’s long-range plans.
This position offers an annual base salary ranging from $150,000 to $209,000 and includes eligibility for an annual performance bonus.
