Outpatient Clinical Supervisor - Primary Care

Inova Primary Care is looking for a dedicated Outpatient Clinical Supervisor to join the team. This role will be full time evening position, Monday – Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm.

Job Locations: Position will cover: Primary Care – Purcellville, Primary Care – Leesburg, Primary Care – Ashburn and Primary Care – Sterling.

Outpatient Clinical SupervisorJob Responsibilities:

• Oversees and assists team members in assigned functional area, which may include but not limited to, ensuring team is meeting key-deliverables and quality standards, addressing and resolving challenges, managing and tracking performance, and assisting in time management and scheduling; escalates issues to senior leaders as needed.
• Supervises clinical operations, direct patient care, and patient education.
• Responsible for the administration and application of all clinical nursing functions, procedures and protocols.
• Coordinates and facilitates patient care progression throughout the healthcare continuum.
• Manages patient care effectively and timely by working collaboratively and maintaining active communication with members of the primary care team. 

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: Vocational / Technical Diploma in Practical Nursing
• License: Licensed Practical Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia
• Experience: 1 year of nursing or related healthcare experience
• Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association.
