WHAT YOU WILL DO
The Wholesale Funding Associate will support Hyundai Capital America’s floorplan dealer portfolio including processing of flooring and auction requests, customer support on the Dealer Access module of the wholesale management system and maintenance of dealer credit lines in the system. Assist in the day-to-day management of Non Floor Plan accounts including fleet, commercial mobility products (as required), real estate and working capital loans. In addition, provide general administrative support for the Commercial Credit team.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
1. Daily Floorplan Dealer Portfolio Activity
Research and resolve accounting discrepancies.
Process ACH rejection requests as required.
Process returns and notify Credit Centers.
Collaborate daily with the Accounting Department with respect to reconciliation, clearing transactions and open suspense items.
Set up new floorplan accounts and new auctions within the wholesale management system including takeovers and takeouts.
Process daily balancing to ensure all flooring transactions, ACH and wire disbursements are in balance and forwarded to HCA Accounting in a timely manner.
Perform system testing as required in preparation for system updates/enhancements.
Post batches interfaced by HMA and KMA into the wholesale management system and reconcile against HCA cash disbursement notifications.
Process flooring of all non-Hyundai and non-Kia draft requests and reconcile to daily cash disbursement notifications.
Process auction flooring requests and Dealer Direct (DAS) flooring requests daily according to department service level requirements.
Review documentation to ensure no outstanding liens are present and title documents have been executed properly.
Process funding and payment transactions for syndication accounts as required.
Follow up with dealers and insurance companies to ensure insurance and coverages are adequate.
2. Prepare Treasury Approval Request (TAPR) for wire transfers for syndication funding transactions.
3. Process Enterprise vehicles and Rental Fleet funding, payment activities and daily balance reconciliation, account reporting and maintenance.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
Minimum 2-4 years’ related work experience in basic accounting reconciliation.
Knowledge of inventory floor plan financing a plus.
Bank or captive lender experience preferred.
High School diploma or GED required.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
Proven detail-oriented working with monetary transactions.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to work with dealers and internal departments.
Team oriented, strong interpersonal skills.
Must be able to multitask and perform multiple job functions simultaneously
