Job Description
Job Purpose:
Our Supply Planner will be responsible for managing the planning and execution of our inventory strategy for a specific set of items and suppliers. They will drive inventory performance to support business targets for Fill Rate and Days Inventory on Hand (DIOH).Individuals in this position will manage the replenishment strategies and planning parameters within Oracle system (EVO) to optimize inventory performance. They will monitor and update the Replenishment Forecast to account for short term changes in demand. They will manage the determination of purchase order quantity in Buyer Workbench (BWB).
Supply Planner will collaborate and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. They will work with Demand Planners and Inventory Coordinators to ensure forecast accuracy and accurate execution of Purchase Orders. They will serve as the primary point of contact with our suppliers and will work with them to solve complex business problems. They will also provide feedback to Strategic Sourcing and Category Management teams on inventory and supplier trends and performance.
Job Responsibilities:
● Perform daily inventory replenishment review to monitor exceptions, and recommended purchase requisitions in EVO and the Buyer Workbench.● Manage replenishment policy and parameter setting within EVO including lead time, minimum order quantities, product segmentation, etc.
● Monitor forecast and projected inventory levels to minimize inventory shortage and surplus.
● Leverage EVO reporting and analytics to make proactive strategic replenishment decisions.
● Coordinate with Demand Planners on the inventory placement for marketing initiatives in collaboration with RSL, IM team, and Category Management.
● Resolve complex issues escalated by Inventory Coordinators (e.g., following up on purchase orders, expediting purchase orders, resolving purchase order and invoice discrepancies as needed).
● Consistently monitor supplier performance; participate in reviews with suppliers, driving towards resolution of issues optimizing supplier performance.
● Participate in projects as requested (e.g., shuttle reduction, ABC Classification, NetOps Consolidation and Continuous Improvement initiatives).
● Work with sourcing team to drive supplier minimum reductions and service improvements through forecast collaboration.
● Work collaboratively to effectively manage Customer Dedicated Inventory and Sales Rep to advise stocking strategies.
● Accurately and concisely communicate updates to the organization and keep the organization abreast on requests, questions, and concerns; proactively take initiative on questions or issues that arise.

● Ability to adopt new technology and adapt to business changes in a fast-paced environment.
● Display a sense of urgency to respond to inquiries and service internal and external customers.
● Strong understanding of inventory replenishment best practices.
● Strong technical and analytical skills, i.e. statistical and mathematical models, issue research and resolution.
● Excellent verbal, written, people, and diplomacy skills are required.
● Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Replenishment Planning preferred.
