Reports To: Executive Director
Summary: The Lifestyle Director is a key member of the department head team and is responsible for leading, developing, coordinating, and implementing activities, programs and events that optimize quality of life for our residents, enhance health and wellbeing and promote social connection and engagement. Maplewood Lifestyle Directors incorporate social, physical, cognitive, emotional, spiritual, and purposeful activities and programs to meet the comprehensive and multidimensional needs and interests of our residents. At Maplewood, we build our 9 Essential Elements of Wellbeing which include: Engagement, Intentional Living, Movement, The Arts, Community, Family, Brain Health, Energized Environments and Laughter into our lifestyle programs.
