Role Overview:
As a SharePoint & Power Platform Developer Intern, you will work at the intersection of business and technology. You will assist our IT/Digital Transformation team in building custom business applications, automating manual workflows, and enhancing our internal collaboration sites. This is a hands-on role where you will receive mentorship while delivering real-world solutions that impact our daily operations.
Responsibilities:
- App Development: Assist in designing and building custom Canvas and Model-driven Power Apps to solve internal business challenges
- Process Automation: Create and maintain Power Automate flows to streamline notifications, approvals, and data synchronization
- SharePoint Administration: Configure SharePoint Online sites, manage document libraries, and set up complex lists with custom metadata and views
- Front-End Enhancement: Use JSON, HTML, and CSS to customize the look and feel of SharePoint pages and Power Apps interfaces
- Testing & QA: Perform unit testing and assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure solutions are bug-free and user-friendly
- Documentation: Create "How-to" guides and technical documentation for the apps and workflows you build
Requirements:
- Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Technical Foundation: Basic understanding of databases (SQL or Excel-based data structures) and logic-based programming
- Microsoft 365 Knowledge: Familiarity with the M365 suite (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
- Problem-Solving: A proactive mindset and the ability to troubleshoot "why a flow didn't run" or "why a gallery isn't filtering"
- Communication: Ability to explain technical features to non-technical users
