How you’ll contribute
A Referral Authorization Specialist who excels in this role:
- Completes pre-authorizations for all diagnostic testing, therapy, surgical and specialty care appointments according to insurance requirements within 3 days of issuance.
- Communicates authorization status, referral updates, and care coordination information to patients, providers, and clinical staff while maintaining accurate documentation in the EMR.
- Assists patients in overcoming barriers to care and ensure timely follow-up for high-priority referrals.

What we’re looking for - Applicants should have a High school diploma or equivalent.
- Some college education is preferred.
- Previous experience in insurance authorizations and/or referrals is preferred.
