
Vice President, Global Procurement (Transformation Leader)

We are seeking a Vice President, Global Procurement to lead a comprehensive transformation of our enterprise-wide procurement initiative. This is a highly visible, strategic leadership role responsible for building the capability of a best-in-class global procurement organization across multiple business units and regions. This leader will act as both an architect and operator—defining procurement strategy, driving execution, and partnering cross-functionally to unlock value across the business. The role offers a unique opportunity to examine and revitalize our procurement strategy and performance, with significant executive sponsorship and long-term impact on company performance.
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Procurement Transformation
- Develop and execute a unified global procurement strategy, starting with ownership of our indirect spend categories, and related procurement functions
- Lead the transition from a decentralized model to a centralized, scalable procurement operating model
- Build governance, policies, systems, and processes to support enterprise-wide procurement excellence
Organization Build & Leadership
- Design and scale a high-performing global procurement organization, integrating distributed teams into a cohesive function
- Serve as a hands-on change leader, driving cultural adoption and capability building
Strategic Sourcing & Cost Optimization
- Lead complex sourcing initiatives across global supply bases
- Drive cost savings, total cost of ownership improvements, and supplier consolidation
- Establish category management strategies and long-range sourcing plans
Supplier Strategy & Risk Management
- Strengthen supplier relationships while improving resilience, quality, and continuity of supply
- Implement best-in-class supplier performance management and risk mitigation programs
- Leverage data, analytics, and digital tools to enhance decision-making
Cross-Functional Partnership
- Partner closely with Engineering, R&D, Operations, Quality, Regulatory, Finance, and Commercial teams to enable material and supplier strategies
- Lead critical alignment efforts to ensure enterprise support for procurement-driven initiatives
Operational Excellence & Value Delivery
- Establish procurement KPIs (cost savings, supplier performance, working capital improvements)
- Drive continuous improvement across procure-to-pay, sourcing, and supplier processes
- Regularly communicate measurable business impact to executive leadership
Job Requirements:
Experience & Background
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain operations, or a related field.
- 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain
- Proven success leading procurement in complex, global manufacturing environments
- Demonstrated ability to transform or build procurement functions, including centralization and capability development
- Track record of delivering measurable results, including cost savings, supply risk reduction, and operational improvements
- Experience driving enterprise-wide change and influencing senior stakeholders
- Hands-on, “builder” mindset with the ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels
- Strong executive presence and communication skills
- Highly analytical with a data-driven decision-making approach
- Collaborative leader with a cross-functional mindset
- Results-oriented with a continuous improvement mentality

Target Market Salary Range:
Actual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed reasonable estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Envista, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401K match, and/or other applicable compensation plans.
