Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a Sales Executive to join our Commercial team (currently composed of three team members) and support both the Renaissance Brussels Hotel and the Marriott Executive Apartments, two properties located in Brussels' EU district.

Reporting directly to the Director of Sales (DOS), the Sales Executive is a key member of the Sales team and plays an active role in driving the commercial performance of both properties.

The primary objective of this position is to support the achievement of the hotels' sales targets through proactive prospecting, account management, client retention, and revenue optimization, while contributing to the overall success and visibility of the hotels.

CRITICAL TASKS
  • Manage a portfolio of accounts across assigned market segments and act as the primary point of contact for clients via phone and email.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships while driving revenue growth and ensuring customer loyalty to Marriott brands.
  • Proactively identify and prospect new business opportunities in line with the hotels' sales strategy and objectives.
  • Qualify incoming leads and ensure timely follow-up on all sales inquiries and business opportunities.
  • Utilize Marriott's internal sales platforms and tools to submit RFPs, manage opportunities, and drive new business development.
  • Prepare sales reports, market analyses, and forecasts, and actively participate in Sales Strategy Meetings.
  • Support the planning and execution of customer engagement initiatives and events, such as Guest Appreciation Week and Elite Member Week.
  • Represent the hotels at networking events, trade shows, sales missions, and industry functions, both locally and internationally, promoting brand awareness, strengthening business relationships, and generating new business opportunities.
  • Ensure full compliance with Marriott policies, standards, and procedures, and remain up to date with all mandatory training requirements.

Related Work Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in sales or a related field
