Description of Work
This position is located at Granville Correctional Institution, Butner NC. The individual assigned to this role will report to the Senior Correctional Case Analyst.Key Duties Included:
- Analyze and interpret legal commitments/documents, medical data, psychological data, criminal history, social history, statistical information gathered from interviews and written documentation
- Develop effective treatment plans for offenders including recommendations for housing, custody, treatment and programming.
-Comprehend and abide by policy, standard operating procedures, emergency plans, memorandum, legal documents and other directives, both written and verbal, governing daily activities.
- Perform routine supportive counseling and crisis intervention functions to include suicide prevention, recognizing abnormal behavior and taking appropriate action in accordance with established procedures.
-Perform rescue functions during emergencies, i.e., physically removing people from dangerous areas and securing people from confined areas.

Salary Range: $39,244.00 - $68,679.00

About The Division of Institutions:
The Division of Institutions manages the daily operations of all state-operated prison facilities across North Carolina. Facilities are categorized by custody levels (minimum, medium, close) and house individuals serving sentences for felony convictions. The division provides safety, security, and rehabilitative services through trained custody staff, program facilitators, and administrative personnel.
