Job Description

Account Asset Specialist – Indianapolis   Do you have the skills to analyze inventory needs and the desire to improve inventory flow? What You’ll Do as a Account Asset Specialist In this role, you’ll support and manage inventory programs at customer locations while delivering exceptional service and identifying opportunities for improvement.   You’ll: Implement and manage crib/inventory programs at customer sites to ensure consistent material availability and minimize downtime for customers Monitor, analyze, and maintain inventory levels to improve accuracy, reduce waste, and ensure the right products are on hand when needed Perform cycle counts, physical inventories, and installed base evaluations to maintain data integrity and support informed decisions Identify opportunities to improve inventory flow and standardization to increase efficiency and reduce costs for both the customer and the business Deliver, receive, stock, and replenish materials at customer locations to keep operations running smoothly and maintain service reliability Promote value-added services and identify product conversion opportunities to enhance customer operations What Makes You a Great Fit High School diploma or equivalent; College level coursework preferred 2+ years of electrical product experience; Counter sales or industrial maintenance Minimum 21 years old Strong written and verbal communication skills, telephone etiquette Self-directed, independent work ethic Strong interpersonal and customer contact skills Credible, responsive team-player Reading and math skills Attention to detail Proficiency with Microsoft Office What to Expect in This Role Ability to lift, push, pull, carry up to 50 lbs. and adapt to varied work environments Ability to climb ladders Walk warehouse/plant floor Sit and stand for extended periods of time Schedule: Monday–Friday, Flexible Hours 6/7am-3/4pm depending on demand Travel required Why Kirby Risk?
