About the Role:
Elite Dermatology PLLC is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Dermatology Medical Assistant to join our team in the Heights area of Houston, TX. Responsibilities:
- Room patients and document medical histories in the EMR system
- Assist dermatology providers during skin exams, biopsies, and cosmetic procedures
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms, ensuring proper sterilization and supply stocking
- Educate patients on skincare treatments, medications, and post-procedure care instructions
- Manage patient flow and support front-to-back office communication for efficient scheduling
- Administer injections and assist with minor surgical procedures under provider supervision
Requirements:
- Prior experience in dermatology, primary care, or a clinical setting strongly preferred
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and clinical documentation
- Knowledge of dermatology procedures, skin care products, and terminology is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate, patient-first attitude
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a high-volume clinical environment
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required
