Job Summary

Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities has an excellent and immediate opening for a Full Time Facility Supervisor at Coca-Cola Music Hall San Juan P.R.

The Facility Supervisor is responsible for general building and facilities maintenance in the Coca-Cola Music Hall and for day-to-day operations and will work with the Operation Manager to ensure all event needs are met. This position will work closely with staff to provide high level customer service to ensure a friendly, safe environment at all events and assist with planning and cost estimates.

Essential Duties

  • Responsible for general building and facilities equipment operations, preventative maintenance, and repair.
  • Supervise, operate, inspect, and coordinate adjustments to all building operating systems including air handlers, HVAC, electrical and plumbing equipment.  Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to coordinate required maintenance and service.
  • Obtains bids and manages service agreements for additional maintenance and ensures adherence to specifications; oversees maintenance of permit requirements (i.e., elevator, escalator, alarms, etc.)
  • Supervise food service equipment maintenance including dishwashers and refrigeration units.
  • Training, supervising, and evaluating departmental personnel and service providers.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with managers, supervisors, employees, patrons, clients, service providers and corporate sponsors.
  • Supervised third party service providers by enforcing the agreed upon scope of services within the various signed service agreements.
  • Develops and reviews work schedules for set-up and maintenance staff to ensure efficient staffing
  • Detects faulty operations, defective material, and reports those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
  • Maintains inventory control program under the direction of the Operation Manager.
  • Compliance with all company safety policies, OSHA standards, and venue operational procedures is required.
  • Be an expert user and team trainer in ALTUM, ensuring awareness of system capability and functionality.
  • Respond to all security needs and calls for services & safety related calls in a timely manner, work Security and local law enforcement as necessary.

Education and Experience

  • An Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree is required
  • A minimum of 2 - 4 years of related work experience in facilities management.
  • Experience supervising, leading and mentoring teams.

Additional Experience

  • Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification; ability to operate a forklift.

Skills and Abilities

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel); and ability to learn all required business and work order systems.
  • Availability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours based on event schedules and operational needs.
  • Ability to prioritize and to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
  • Strong communication skills with the public and team members.
  • Ability to solve problems quickly and effectively.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions accurately.

Working Conditions

  • Work is primarily performed in a live entertainment and venue environment with exposure to both administrative and operational areas.
  • Position requires frequent walking throughout the facility, prolonged standing, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs, and occasional lifting or moving of equipment and materials.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, dust, cleaning chemicals, and event-related operational activity.
  • Must be comfortable working around large crowds, live event productions, and fast-paced operational environments.
  • Position may require on-call availability and immediate response to facility-related emergencies or urgent operational issues.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure.
