Maintenance Technician

• Role scope: Install, repair, and maintain machinery and process operations equipment.
• Technical expertise: Troubleshoot and dismantle machinery and replace defective components.
• Perform preventive maintenance: Grease bearings, replace filters and fluids, operate auxiliary pumps and fans, calibrate and document process monitoring equipment.
• Perform industrial plumbing: measuring, cutting, threading, and installing steel pipe. Occasional CPVC gluing.
• Mechanical repair & Welding: Rebuild valves, bearings, pumps, and other mechanical components. Weld and fabricate with plate and pipe.
• Calibration: Calibrate meters and analyzers.
• Certificates: Operate industrial vehicles such as forklifts.
• Communication: Provides maintenance information by answering questions and requests. Troubleshoot electrical circuits.
• Safety: Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Availability: On-Call availability for emergencies and every other weekend.

• Degree: High school diploma, GED or equivalent / Technical School preferred  or one to three years’ Maintenance Experience
• Knowledge: Ability to operate machinery and technical equipment and in-depth knowledge of system maintenance
• Manual Requirements: Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
• Safety: Familiarity with safety standards and regulations
• Software: Proficient with Microsoft Office Software
• Skills: Good interpersonal and time management skills along with attention to detail
