Job Description
AirStrip is adding a Regional Vice President, Sales to our team. As an RVP, you'll execute our company vision for ARR bookings growth within your assigned territory. You'll manage all sales activities related to prospective new customers, expansion/upsell opportunities with existing customers, and work with Channel Partners and Strategic Force Multipliers where necessary. You'll have the opportunity to partner closely with the Chief Commercial Officer on strategic direction to meet the company’s growth objectives. You'll work cross-functionally with Account Managers and/or our Director of Account Management to identify opportunities to expand/upsell into existing customer install base. As an RVP, Sales within our team, you'll partner closely with the Director of Program Management to successfully handoff new clients for implementation, including alignment of customer expectations, which results in our ability to expedite customer sign off/acceptance and increase revenues.
This position offers the opportunity to work remotely within the United States, and requires up to 75% travel, including overnight travel as business needs necessitate.
Responsibilities on a day-to-day include, but are not limited to:
Prospecting for new customers in the whitespace and closing orders
Selling new products and expansion into existing customers
Producing and conducting sales presentations
Producing and conducting an exceptional sales demonstration of AirStrip to clinicians, IT, administrators, and other stake holders using AirStrip ONE’s full suite of demonstration tools
Generating sales proposals, executive summaries, return on investment projections, and pricing quotations
Managing the sales cycle from start to finish (contract signed), as well as staying involved with client success metrics as needed to drive reference customers
Timely reporting of all sales activities in Salesforce.com and/or in coordination with Chief Commercial Officer
Education & Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree from accredited university in business, healthcare management, or related discipline
Minimum 5 years of previous experience in software sales experience in healthcare IT and/or direct experience working in a hospital environment
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Excellent communication skills: in addition to basic communication skills, the ability to communicate complex information clearly and accurately in a clinical and information technology setting. Strong listening skills are also essential.
Knowledge of EHR, patient monitoring, cardiology management and obstetrics IT systems: proficient in protocols, requirements, and emerging trends around the management of health IT systems/applications.
Healthcare workflow knowledge with thorough understanding of the operations and workflows within critical care (ER, ICU, telemetry, peri-op, obstetrics) provider organizations, including health system leadership, delivery of care, outcomes, and strategic planning
Problems-solving skills: ability to face challenges around product feedback, issues, and improvements to benefit workflow enablement. Including listening to customer workflow challenges and aligning them with AirStrip solutions that solve said challenges for business growth
Willingness to travel with overnights, as high as 75% travel requirement to client locations and corporate offices.
The salary range for applicable US-based applicants to this position is below. The specific rate will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications, prior experience as well as geographic location.
$135,000 - $150,000 base salary plus commission potential.
