Yard Operator
Job Description
XTL Distribution is expanding its team at our Delta facility!
We are currently looking for a Shunter and Forklift Operator who will be responsible for shunting trailers in the yard, loading and unloading trailers and containers, and handling merchandise on the dock.
Shift
Day Shift: Monday to Friday
Time: 8:30a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Requirements
- Valid forklift certificate
- Must have the ability to operate a shunt truck: either a valid Class 1 license or a Class 5 license with air brakes
Minimum 6 months of experience operating a shunt truck
Minimum 1 year of forklift operating experience
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Experience with RF scanners
Reach Truck experience is an asset
Strong teamwork skills and initiative
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Ability to follow all safety policies and procedures
Due to current CT‑PAT policy, the successful candidate will be subject to a background check
Must be eligible to work in Canada
