Job Description

Under guidance, assists with developing and implementing data acquisition code for established sensor systems to collect, automatically label, and transmit data over a network. Assists with developing and testing hardware improvements for existing systems. Assists with debugging embedded Linux drivers and interface software for instrument protocols. Helps develop and test simulation software and create tools to analyze and visualize data. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs): Knowledge of FPGA development (Xilinx Zynq, Verilog/Vivado). Knowledge of low-level embedded Linux, including kernel configuration, cross-compilation, U-Boot, and root file system basics. Knowledge of device trees and the integration of ADC data interfaces (LVDS/SPI). Working knowledge of C for embedded Linux development. Ability to work with the Analog Devices reference HDL flow.
