The Channel Data & Operations Analyst supports the Complex Client Center of Excellence in advancing the firm’s channel intelligence capabilities across Private Equity, Family Office, Public Company, Foreign Direct Investment, and other complex client segments. The role provides operational and analytical support to maintain high-quality client data, fulfill ad-hoc stakeholder requests, and support the production of automated reporting and AI-enabled insights.
Working closely with the Channel Insights team, this role helps sustain the data infrastructure and operational processes that power channel reporting, client intelligence, and growth analytics, ensuring that insights delivered to leadership are supported by accurate, validated, and well-structured data.
Essential Duties:
Operational and Ad-Hoc Insights Support: Provide operational support to the Channel Insights team in responding to stakeholder requests that require manual data review, data extraction, or analytical support beyond
Channel Data Integrity and Maintenance: Support the maintenance and quality assurance of channel intelligence datasets across CRM, MDM, and third- party data sources (e.g., PitchBook, D&B). Perform validation, research, and data reconciliation to ensure the integrity and logic of channel affiliations used in firm reporting and analytics.
Reporting and Insights Production: Assist with the operational support of channel reporting, automated insights tools, and AI-enabled analytics by preparing datasets, validating outputs, and monitoring reporting refresh processes. Conduct targeted research on companies, investors, and markets to enrich internal datasets and support insights delivered through dashboards, reports, and emerging automation tools.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in:
- Business
- Finance
- Economics
- Data Analytics
- Information Systems
TECHNICAL/SOFT SKILLS
Required:
- Strong analytical and data quality management skills
- Experience working with structured datasets
- Ability to perform detailed data validation and research
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to support multiple operational tasks simultaneously
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, Power Point)
Preferred:
- Experience with CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred)
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI)
- Experience with third-party data sources (PitchBook, D&B, Capital IQ)
- Exposure to SQL, data extraction tools, or structured data environments
- Interest in emerging AI or automation tools used for analytics
EXPERIENCE
Required:
- 1–3 years of experience in one of the following environments:
- Data analytics
- Market intelligence
- CRM operations
- Business research
- Consulting support
- Client intelligence or marketing analytics teams
Preferred:
- Experience supporting operational analytics or reporting teams where responsibilities included data validation, research, and preparation of analytical datasets.
- Familiarity with database tools, techniques, applications, and datasets (e.g., CRM, PitchBook, D&B).
