About your team
Asset Management CAO team is responsible front to back, for the operational and supporting capabilities across investment management. The Investment Management Solutions team is a cross asset delivery & support function driving collaboration, consistency & execution across the global asset management platform. The team drives strategic initiatives, provide support services enabling our investment team, and partners with our investment leaders to strengthen oversight, risk controls & regional regulatory engagement.
About your role
You will play a key role in supporting the continued evolution of the Research Solutions function into a scalable, cross-asset capability supporting Equity, Fixed Income and Multi-Asset teams. Working closely with the Senior Manager, Investment Research Solutions, you will help drive the implementation and ongoing enhancement of research governance, processes and support models across the platform.
A significant focus of the role will be supporting and enhancing the external research operating model, including governance, oversight, vendor coordination, transparency and risk management processes. You will work across a broad range of operational, analytical and strategic initiatives to improve consistency, scalability and effectiveness across the research landscape.
As a senior member of the Research Solutions team, you will be expected to operate independently, engage confidently with senior stakeholders and provide leadership and continuity across the function where required.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the design, implementation and continuous improvement of cross-asset research operating models, processes and governance frameworks
- Lead day-to-day oversight and coordination of external research processes, ensuring effective governance, transparency and operational control
- Partner with Research Heads, investment stakeholders and support functions to understand priorities and deliver scalable support solutions
- Drive improvements in process efficiency, workflow optimisation, data utilisation and analytical reporting across the research function
- Support governance forums and reporting processes, ensuring clear stakeholder communication and effective tracking of actions and outcomes
- Identify operational risks, control gaps and process inefficiencies, supporting the implementation of robust and scalable controls
- Produce structured analysis and management information to support oversight, decision-making and strategic initiatives
- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives and support delivery across multiple workstreams and stakeholder groups
- Provide leadership, guidance and coaching to other team members and contribute to a collaborative and high-performing team environment
- Act as a key point of support and escalation within the team
Experience and Qualifications Required
- Strong experience within asset management, investment research support, COO/business management or related operational environments
- Good understanding of research governance, external research processes and the operational landscape supporting investment teams
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex workstreams independently and operate effectively in fast-paced environments
- Strong analytical and data-oriented mindset, with the ability to interpret information and deliver meaningful insights
- Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and working across multiple teams and functions
- Strong risk and control awareness, with experience supporting well-governed and scalable operational processes
- Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience supporting process improvement, workflow optimisation and operational change initiatives
- Exposure to research platforms, AI tooling and data visualisation technologies such as Bloomberg, AlphaSense, Power BI, Tableau, SQL or Python would be advantageous
