We are looking for a Senior Support Worker to join the team at Wigginton Cottage.
Wigginton Cottage is a specialist residential service near Tamworth, supporting up to eight adults with Prader-Willi syndrome (PWS). Located in the heart of Wigginton village, the service offers a welcoming environment with excellent local transport links and easy access to the M6.

What you'll be doing
You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our residents wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. You will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of residents

- Supervise, coach, and develop support staff within a positive team culture.
- Ensure care plans, records, and practices meet regulatory and quality standards.

- Build positive relationships with service users, families, and professionals.

What you'll bring to the role

NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) is preferred. Applicants with a minimum NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) will also be considered, provided they are willing to work towards and achieve the Level 3 qualification within an agreed timescale following commencement of the role.
