Description
The Retail Account Coordinator (RAC) is a field-based role focused on in-store execution, shift support, and retailer relationship building. This RAC operates exclusively in the field — there is no home office component. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, leads by example on the floor, and serves as the primary point of presence for Beauty Educators and retailer partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Be a consistent, visible presence on the floor — supporting shifts, coverage needs, and live events
- Coach and mentor Beauty Educators in the moment, on the floor, during active shifts
- Build and maintain strong relationships with store staff, department leads, and retailer management
- Conduct regular in-person performance check-ins and document coaching in real time
- Monitor time & attendance and partner with the scheduling team on any shift changes or coverage gaps
- Ensure brand, retailer, and Headkount standards are upheld on every visit
- Complete detailed in-store surveys following every shift
- Achieve sales goals by driving BE performance and engagement at store level
- Escalate employee or retailer concerns promptly to their supervisor and HR
- Stay current on all Headkount communications via the Headkount app
Skills, Knowledge, and Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience working for a beauty brand or major beauty retailer.
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership and decision-making skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Professional conduct in-store
- Excellent brand and product education & training skills
- Technology skills: video calls, phone calls, text messages, smart phone applications
