We’re excited to welcome a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join Easter Ross Vets on a permanent basis. This is a varied and rewarding role within a supportive, first opinion practice where you will have the opportunity to work up your own medical and surgical cases while developing your clinical interests.

Easter Ross Vets is a well-established first opinion small animal practice operating across two branches in Invergordon and Tain, with Invergordon acting as the main hub. We are proud of our collaborative and supportive environment, where clinical autonomy is encouraged alongside strong peer support. We work closely with established referral centres within reach, ensuring excellent continuity of care for more complex cases while maintaining a strong first opinion caseload.

Our practice includes:

*A team of 5 Veterinary Surgeons, 6 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 1 Student Veterinary Nurse, and 1 Veterinary Care Assistant
*In-house diagnostics including blood analysers, ultrasound, and digital radiography
*A varied and engaging small animal caseload with scope for surgical and medical development
*Supportive colleagues with individual clinical interests and informal mentorship across the team
*Opportunities for certificate support and continued professional development
*Active involvement in the local community, including agricultural and dog shows

Location, Lifestyle & Culture

The area is rich in heritage and culture, with historic landmarks such as Dunrobin Castle and a strong sense of community at its heart. Despite its peaceful Highland setting, the practice is only around 25 minutes from Inverness, offering excellent transport links, amenities, and an international airport.
