Test Lead - MSD - Finance and Operations (3 Month Contract)

Project overview

This is a contract for Consultancy services reporting into the Regional Technology Director EMEA and based within the Microsoft Dynamics Implementation Team, working remotely but located ideally in Cape Town or surrounds, South Africa. This role is to be a Test Lead for Phase 2 of the MSD implementation.

Key Responsibilities

Ensuring all test scripts are fit for purpose and contain the right amount of contextual relevance

Plan and manage the execution and delivery of the Systems Integration Testing, to cover all integrations relating to phase 2 of the MSD implementation

Plan the training of all users, alongside the project team and will monitor attendance and completion of test scripts, prior to performing UAT

Plan the User Acceptance Testing to cover all appropriate users and legal entities/Regions, -coordinating across time zones to deliver timely and accurate UAT

Ensure that all UAT scripts are completed

Collect feedback from all users, where difficulties were encountered and feed back to the project team manager

Raise issues for defects in Devops as appropriate and ensure timely resolution of these with SA Global and the project team

Ensure the project team actively engages in resolving Devops tickets in a timely manner and escalate any issues accordingly

Plan appropriate retesting

Recommend and gain approval for appropriate exit criteria for UAT

Be responsible for facilitating the successful completion of UAT in line with agreed exit criteria.

Attend regular project workstream team meetings

Support other team members with tasks and knowledge, as required

Build collaborative working relationships with other teams

Ensure any risks and issues are communicated timely to the programme manager.
