The Outside Sales Representative – Geo Stormwater is an entry‑level to early‑career sales role designed to develop future sales professionals through structured onboarding, hands‑on field experience, and formal training. This role supports the Geo Stormwater sales team by learning core sales processes, product applications, and market strategies while gradually building independent sales responsibility.
This position is ideal for recent college graduates or individuals early in their career who are seeking a long‑term sales career with growth potential in infrastructure and stormwater solutions.
This is a field-based sales role supporting customers in our Southern Plains Territory. The desired candidate may live anywhere in the territory.
Key Responsibilities
Support outside sales activity within an assigned territory, including customer visits, project tracking, and opportunity development
Learn and apply Geo Stormwater product knowledge across stormwater, geosynthetics, and specialty applications
Assist with identifying project opportunities through:
ConstructConnect searches
DOT lettings review
Contractor vetting and market research
Project back‑up identification (PBI)
Participate in territory planning and market presence strategies
Use CRM and estimating tools to support sales execution and pipeline management
Build foundational relationships with contractors, engineers, and internal partners
Progressively assume increased responsibility as training milestones are completed
Training & Development
This role includes a structured, multi‑phase onboarding and learning curriculum, including:
Systems & Tools Training
Salesforce, Trilogie, Planswift, and Geo product and application platforms
Formal Learning Programs
I Am a Tiger, Solmax U, and Tensar Training Camp
Expert‑Led Learning & Mentorship Direct learning and coaching from experienced sales and product experts, including:
Introduction to Solmax and Tensar product lines and applications
Instruction on market intelligence, contractor strategy, and DOT processes
Exposure to Own Brand products
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred (business, construction management, engineering, or related field a plus)
0–3 years of relevant experience (sales, construction, engineering, internships, or related exposure)
Strong communication skills and willingness to learn
Interest in technical sales and relationship‑based selling
Self‑motivated, organized, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
Ability and willingness to work in a field‑based sales environment

This role is structured to support long‑term development into higher‑level sales positions as experience, technical knowledge, and independent sales capability increase. Advancement opportunities may include progression into fully autonomous Outside Sales roles and expanded territory responsibility.

Pay Range:

$3,375.00 - $5,500.00-
Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
