Responsibilities
To research, conceptualize and develop new or complex technologies and their applications. To be involved with project definition and implementation at the process level. To act as a key technical resource to projects, to lead software design and research efforts and mentor mid-level engineers. independently applies a systematic, disciplined, quantifiable approach to the development, operation and maintenance of software with the ability to lead mid-level engineers.
- Initiate and lead engineering teams on development of new products
- Research, define, present and recommend software designs and/or alternative strategies
- Leads team in determining customer requirements and assists team in providing customer solutions
- Performs critical design reviews
- Provides mid-level engineers with methodologies and effective techniques for design engineering and problem troubleshooting and resolution. Leads them in the formulation of detailed functional and product specifications,
- Acts as key technical resource (Technical Lead) to other engineers and project leaders. Effectively interfaces with other organizations of the company and acts as a liaison or contact point on both technical and non-technical matters.
- Expert Proficiency in Software Requirements, Software Design, Software Maintenance, Software Engineering Mgt. Software Engineering Tools & Methods and Software Engineering Quality.
- Advanced Proficiency in Software Construction, Software Testing, Software Configuration Mgt., Software Engineering Process
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree with additional Education/Training or equivalent
- 5 or more related experience. Technologies: J2EE, Swing, Hibernate, Javascript and Web Services

This information reflects Brightstar Lottery’s good-faith estimate of compensation for this position at the time of publication. Actual compensation will be determined in accordance with the applicable collective agreement and internal compensation policies. Factors that we consider include, but are not limited to, role, career level, performance, skills, level of expertise, experience, location, market competitiveness, and internal equity. The estimated starting compensation range is 203,835 zł – 313,593 zł. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
In addition to base salary, employees may be eligible for an annual performance-based bonus with a set target (10% of salary) aligned with individual and company performance. Eligibility and payout may be prorated based on date of hire and service during the performance period or sales commission.

This position is governed by collective bargaining agreement, which regulates the main terms and conditions of employment, including minimum salary levels, classification, working hours, leave, and other employment rights.
