🚨 We're Hiring:  Job title - Data Analyst II
📍 Location: Hyderabad India – Hybrid
🕒 Full-Time | Permanent Position

Job Description:

This position is part of the Global Analytics Hub within the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) division. In this role, you will leverage data analytics and data mining skills to deliver high-impact insights for the global commercial organization. The primary focus is to drive revenue increases, profitability improvements, and margin expansion globally. Reporting directly to the Analytics Manager, you will be responsible and accountable for quantitative analysis, modeling, and automated reporting.

Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions

  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting (50% of Time)
    • Create and maintain automated dashboards for functional stakeholders, regional/global leaders, and CXOs.
    • Perform regular analytical reviews of organizational performance across key pillars, including pricing, product, and procurement.
  • Analytical Modeling (30% of Time)
    • Collaborate with the Hub Lead to understand business objectives, structure advanced models, and deliver actionable outputs.
    • Focus on price/product portfolio optimization and identify profit-increase opportunities (e.g., COGS changes, cost reduction, churn risk).
    • Conduct Price-Volume-Mix (PVM) analysis, Purchase Price Variance (PPV) tracking, pipeline forecasting, price leakage evaluation, and elasticity/variance analysis.
  • Automation and Optimization (20% of Time)
    • Streamline and automate analytical workflows and models leveraging R, Python, SQL, or other automation tools (e.g., Power Automate, KNIME, Alteryx).

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Bachelors in Engineering is required. Masters degree (MS) or specialized certificate courses in analytics are preferred.
  • Experience: 2–3 years of relevant, hands-on quantitative analytics experience (professional or major project-based).
  • Technical Knowledge & Skills:
    • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with analytical and database tools: SQL, Snowflake, Power BI, Python, R, and Excel.
    • Solid understanding of advanced data analytics methods, data science principles, and machine learning concepts.
    • Proficiency with automation toolkits (e.g., Alteryx, KNIME, Power Automate).
  • Certifications: Professional certifications in data platforms or analytics are a plus.
