
Design Technologist - Hong Kong
Job Description
As an international architectural firm, UNS is active in the broadest fields of architecture. Our project portfolio covers every aspect of architecture, ranging from small to large scale projects, research and theory. We are currently looking for Design Technologist to join our Hong Kong Office.
Skills and Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in architecture or computationally focused design
5 years or above of BIM, computational and parametric design experience as a DT or similar position
Experience working between multiple software platforms, with at least 2 years of experience working on Rhino-Revit interoperability workflows
Expert knowledge of Rhino inside, Grasshopper, as well as relevant programming languages such as python, C#, etc.
Creative, innovative and enthusiastic about research in new design technology and software, industry developments in integrated practice, and other applicable techniques
Excellent communication and coordination skills with architects on how to implement computational approaches
Hands-on, proactive, self-motivated designer who works as a team member on projects
Enthusiastic, accountable, with the ability to coach and motivate project teams in the implementation of new design technologies
Previous experience working on built international, large-scale projects in top-tier international design firms is a plus
Able to cope with conflicting demands, prioritize duties, and work effectively under pressure is beneficial
