JOB SUMMARY
Ensure continuous and efficient operation of the established receiving and put-away process, outbound order fulfillment, and raw material pick processes. Direct labor allocation of all Warehouse LTOs within their shift.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ensure a safe work environment is maintained by all employees.
• Generate accurate paperwork for inbound POs and customer orders for the following day.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of required documentation to enable clear traceability
• Perform daily checks of Warehouse areas for non-compliance and report them to your manager/supervisor
• Ensure all warehouse areas maintain a clean work environment
• Ensure Inbound and outbounds loads are handled timely, accurately, and efficiently.
• Organize and prioritize labor to maintain dock appointments and material flow through the warehouse.
• Manage ERP system transactions.
• Communicate and update all relevant parties of any issues or changes
• Track and share daily metrics with WH Leadership team, assigning actions on inefficiencies to drive positive change.
• Communicate an end of shift breakdown / Hand-off to the next shift
• Perform other reasonable duties as assigned
• Coordinate with the Warehouse Supervisor to provide feedback and coaching to team members as appropriate. Partners with the Warehouse Supervisor to compose performance reviews for employees.
• Implements and conducts training when operating procedures change and on an annual basis, as required by the training plan.

LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY
• Works with little supervision, but work is reviewed.
• Recommends actions and alternatives to supervisor and others.
• Decisions or actions may have a moderate impact on other departments and/or external relationships of the organization. Errors are usually detected after the fact and may result in moderate interruption and delay in work output.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Conducting candidates’ forklift skills tests during their interviewing process.
• Ensuring direct reports are maintaining daily processes, guiding them in the right direction when deviations occur.
SKILL REQUIRED
• Must be proficient with MS Office programs, specifically Excel and Outlook.
• Must be able to perform data entry, format documents and create advanced templates.
• Experience with Warehousing, Inventory, and/or Logistics.
• Experience working in temperature controlled settings
• Experience with perishable items
• Proven track record in safe working practices
• On-the-job training of 3-6 weeks.

• Ability to operate a stand up reach forklift/lift truck (Crown brand preferred)

Physical Demands/Efforts
• Work requires continuous physical exertion including lifting of objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
Mental & Visual Demands
• Work performed by this position requires moderate mental concentration to effectively execute moderately complex tasks.
• Work requires continuous visual effort for extended periods of time.
Work Environment and Hazards
• Employee works in a manufacturing setting with frequent exposure to heat/cold, dust, noise or other factors that may require protective equipment and still pose a hazard.
• This position has regular exposure to hazards that could result in injury and loss of time at work.
