Your contribution to something big:
- Take responsibility:
Drive the design, analysis, and validation of rugged and reliable electronic control units (ECUs). Develop switch‑mode power supplies (SMPS), high‑precision analog front‑ends for sensor interfaces, and high‑speed digital circuits for MCU/SoC architectures. You will be part of the entire design process from schematic capture to overseeing a structured PCB layout that adheres to strict signal and power integrity rules. - Using creativity and free space:
Apply your technical expertise to optimize existing designs for performance, cost, and manufacturability. Identify opportunities for technological improvements and contribute to solving complex mixed-signal and system-level challenges. - Optimized implementation:
Balance performance, efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and reliability throughout product development. Support the development of robust and secure automotive electronic systems ready for series production. - Engineering excellence:
Execute projects using Bosch’s development and lifecycle management processes—from concept phase to industrialization and series support.
What distinguishes you
- Education: A Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Physics, Mechatronics, or a closely related technical field.
- Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in electronics design, including analog and mixed-signal circuits;
- Hands-on experience with electronics lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power supplies) for bring-up, testing, and debugging;
- You have proven experience in at least one of the following topics:
- Power supplies;
- MCUs / SoCs;
- Analog and mixed signal design;
- Communication interfaces;
- Schematic Design & PCB Layout (eCAD).
- Know-how:
- You have knowledge in at least one of the following topics:
- Power supplies;
- MCUs / SoCs;
- Analog and mixed signal design;
- Communication interfaces;
- Schematic Design & PCB Layout (eCAD).
- You have knowledge in at least one of the following topics:
- Extra:
- Experience in embedded firmware development or Python scripting is a plus;
- Familiarity with automotive functional safety or security concepts is beneficial;
- Familiarity with automotive battery related transients.
- Languages: Good written and verbal English skills.
- Working Style and Methods:
- Structured, hands-on, and data-driven approach to problem-solving;
- Careful documentation habits ensuring clarity and traceability;
- Ability to manage responsibilities and deliver high-quality results within project timelines.
