Bulk Loading Lead
SHIFT: First Shift – 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM. Schedule subject to change based on business needs; overtime and weekend work may be required.
PAY: $29.65 per hour. Compensation may be adjusted based on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated skills.
Position Summary
The Bulk Loading Lead is responsible for safely leading daily bulk loading and unloading operations for tanker trucks while supporting front-line production activities. This role ensures compliance with all safety, quality, and operational standards and provides leadership, technical expertise, training, and troubleshooting support in a manufacturing environment.
This role is part of our Omnium business, a loyal partner in the manufacturing of crop protection, adjuvant, and plant nutrition products.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee daily bulk loading and unloading of tanker trucks
Ensure all operations are performed safely, especially when handling hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals
Serve as a safety leader by modeling and enforcing proper procedures, including the use of PPE and fall protection
Train, coach, and direct team members on safe and efficient work practices
Operate and monitor PLC systems to control loading processes
Work with site leadership, including lab, maintenance, customer service, and production personnel
Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues within the bulk loading area
Coordinate with maintenance and other departments to address equipment or process concerns
Ensure all materials are loaded and unloaded accurately and meet quality standards
Maintain proper documentation and adherence to regulatory and company requirements
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bulk loading area
Required Experience
Basic computer skills
Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to direct the work of others
Experience working in an industrial, manufacturing, chemical processing, bulk loading, or transportation environment
Preferred Experience
1+ years of experience in bulk loading, tank farm, chemical handling, or liquid transfer operations
Experience operating PLC-controlled systems
Experience training or onboarding employees
Experience working with hazardous materials and related safety procedures
Minimum Qualifications
Age: 18 years or older
Comprehension: Ability to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions and perform basic math
Critical Thinking: Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
Safety: Ensuring the complete physical safety of oneself and co-workers at all times without exception

Physical Requirements
Able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds
Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing, and other active movements
Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment
Working in temperature zones that include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include areas where dust and chemicals are present
