We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our team in Sri Lanka. How you'll make an impact In this role, you'll: Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and scalable data solutions. Build and optimise data warehouse structures and data models to ensure high performance and reliability. Troubleshoot data issues, resolve performance bottlenecks, and address user queries. Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards, including GDPR. You’ll work with cutting-edge technologies like Snowflake Data Cloud, Microsoft Azure, and Power BI, while contributing to the success of Gallagher’s data-driven initiatives. About you Here’s what you’ll bring to the role: Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server and SQL. Expertise in ETL/ELT pipeline development and data warehousing. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of data security and compliance standards. Experience with tools like Snowflake, FiveTran, DBT, and Dataiku is preferred. Familiarity with programming languages such as Python and C#. Prior experience in the insurance domain is required.
