Establish reliable welding procedure qualification record (PQR) and corresponding welding procedure specification (WPS) and welder qualification in accordance with construction code; ensure to conform to welding parameters during fabrication.
Propose the most suitable welding consumables to be used; Manage the welding consumable and take necessary measures to ensure the delivery on time and in good quality, and technical support.

As welding engineer, obtain the welding responsible engineer's technical guidance and reports the related technical question to him;
Manage the welding material and take necessary measures to ensure the delivery of welding material on time and in good quality;
Develop technical welding methods, such as new welding methods etc to improve the quality and efficiency;
Manage welding test and laboratory;
Participate if necessary to solve anomaly problems linked with welding method;
Maintain welder Log, organize welder training and plan; examine & establish the list of welder performance qualification/WPQ;
Establish welding book for each project;
sign welding repair scheme for repair 1 and 2, and submit to Chief Technical Responsible when more than 2 repairs is necessary;
Suggest any measurement which could prevent/correct welding problems and responsible to implement them.

Bachelor degree or above, majored in Welding Technology and Equipment or Metal Material Forming and Control Engineering;
Above 3 years related working experiences in Pressure Vessel or Pressure Piping fabrication, and issue welding docu;
actual welding operation and guidance experience is preferred;
have plenty specific knowledge of welding, PV or PP; and GB150, ASME and PED PV/PP welding Codes/std;
Good English and computer skills.
