Our Campus Recruiting team plays a critical role in shaping the future of the organisation by attracting, engaging, and hiring high-potential early careers talent across Europe.
This 12 month maternity cover role will support the delivery and ongoing evolution of our EMEA campus hiring strategy, ensuring:
• Strong university partnerships
• Diverse talent pipelines
• A best-in-class candidate experience
Role Overview
The Senior Specialist, Campus Recruiting (EMEA) is responsible for:
• End-to-end execution of campus hiring across Europe
• Partnering closely with business stakeholders, HR, and global TA colleagues
This role requires:
• Strong project management capability
• Stakeholder influence
• Operational rigour in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
Key Responsibilities
Campus Hiring Delivery
• Own and deliver the full lifecycle campus recruitment process across assigned European markets
• Manage pipelines across:
- Internships
- Graduate programmes
- Direct sourcing
- Referrals
• Deliver hiring outcomes aligned to workforce planning and diversity objectives
• Ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience from attraction through to offer
• Support the onboarding experience for graduates across Europe
University & Market Engagement
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with:
- Target universities
- Career services
- Faculty
- Student organisations
• Represent Mastercard at campus events and external engagements
• Strengthen employer brand visibility across key markets
• Identify and activate new partnership opportunities to diversify talent pipelines
Internship Programme Execution
• Plan and coordinate the annual internship programme in partnership with:
- Global Campus team
- Local HR stakeholders
• Ensure structured:
- Onboarding
- Engagement
- Conversion strategies
• Maximise return on early careers investment
Data, Governance & Process Excellence
• Maintain accurate and compliant data across CRM and ATS platforms
• Track hiring metrics and provide data-driven insights to improve:
- Attraction channels
- Event ROI
- Conversion rates
• Ensure adherence to:
- Regional compliance standards
- Global hiring processes
Experience & Capability
Essential
• Demonstrated experience in:
- Campus recruitment
- University relations
- Early careers hiring
• Proven ability to manage:
- Multiple requisitions
- Diverse stakeholder groups
• Strong analytical capability with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging at all levels
• Strong project management discipline with high attention to detail
• Ability to operate with pace, adaptability, and discretion in a complex, global environment
Preferred
• Experience working across multiple European markets
• Familiarity with:
- Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
- CRM platforms
• Experience supporting structured internship or graduate programmes
