Description
Here is What Your day May Consist of:
- Assist veterinarians with exams, treatments, and procedures
- Room appointments and obtain accurate patient histories
- Perform blood draws and collect laboratory samples
- Monitor hospitalized patients and provide nursing care
- Administer medications and vaccines as directed
- Assist with surgical procedures and anesthesia monitoring when needed
- Educate pet owners on treatments and preventive care
- Maintain accurate medical records
- Support daily hospital operations and patient flow
Here is What You Will Bring to the Position:
- Previous veterinary technician experience required
Experience with:- Room technician duties
- Venipuncture/blood draws
- Animal restraint and handling
- Surgical experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy animal hospital setting
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
