  • Located in Parramatta with flexible working arrangements available 
  • Salary: Clerk Grade 7/8 with salary ranging from $113,574 to $125,720 + super and annual leave loading

About the role 

 

 

We are seeking a proactive and collaborative Change & Engagement Officer to support the delivery of strategic Finance initiatives and reforms. Working across a range of projects, you will develop change, engagement and communication activities that help stakeholders understand, adopt and embrace new ways of working. 

 

As a Change & Engagement Officer, you will play an important role in supporting Finance reform initiatives through the development and delivery of change management, stakeholder engagement and communications activities. You will work closely with schools, Finance teams and key stakeholders to ensure change is effectively communicated, understood and embedded.

About you 

 

You are a strong communicator who enjoys working with people and supporting organisational change. You are adaptable, organised and capable of managing competing priorities while maintaining a high standard of work. 

 

To be successful in this role, you will bring: 

 

  • Experience supporting change management, stakeholder engagement, communications or project delivery activities in a complex environment. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop clear, engaging and audience-focused communications. 
  • Demonstrated stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to build positive working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders. 
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. 
  • Experience preparing reports, presentations, briefing materials and other business documentation. 
  • A collaborative approach and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer-focused outcomes.

Essential requirements of the role 

 

  • Qualifications in a relevant discipline or demonstrated equivalent knowledge, skills and experience 
  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.

Renewal is not required after the WWCC expires, as long as you remain in a non–child-related role. Employer obligations only apply while the WWCC is valid.
