**Position Overview** 

We are a fast-paced, busy Women’s Health and Midwifery practice seeking an experienced Medical Secretary II to join our front desk team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing patient registration, check-in, and check-out processes efficiently while providing exceptional customer service in a professional healthcare environment.

**Key Responsibilities** 

- Greet and register patients promptly upon arrival 

- Manage patient check-in and check-out procedures accurately 

- Verify patient information and insurance details 

- Schedule and confirm patient appointments as needed 

- Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations 

- Coordinate communication between patients and clinical staff 

- Handle administrative tasks related to patient flow and documentation 

- Address patient inquiries and provide a welcoming atmosphere

Education:

High School Diploma or GED(Required)

2year/Associate's Degree (Preferred)

**Experience and Skills** 

- Previous experience in an ambulatory office environment 

- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems 

- Strong telephone communication skills and professional demeanor 

- Experience processing credit card payments 

- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities 

-Bilingual/Spanish speaking (Preferred)
