About the Role
Mirai RiskTech is looking for an Informatica PowerCenter Developer with strong technical expertise and a solution-oriented mindset to join our team. This role will be responsible for optimizing business processes using the Informatica PowerCenter ecosystem and ETL processes.
The person in this position will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate functional requirements into scalable, efficient, and secure solutions. The role requires strong expertise in Informatica PowerCenter, ETL processes, Data Warehousing, and Business Intelligence projects, along with solid development best practices and a continuous improvement mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter, ensuring quality, performance, and reliability.
- Map and model data for Data Warehouses and Data Marts, including physical data modeling and transformation rules.
- Optimize ETL performance in complex scenarios and estimate database and file system resource needs.
- Manage code migrations across environments and coordinate both initial and incremental data loads.
- Review and monitor testing (unit, integration, UAT) to ensure accurate and validated results.
- Coordinate ETL activities in pre‑production and production environments, ensuring stable operations.
- Ensure compliance with data governance standards, including metadata management, data quality controls, and documentation best practices.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (DBAs, architects, QA, business analysts) to refine requirements, resolve dependencies, and guarantee end‑to‑end data flow integrity.
- Participate in the design of ETL/ELT architectures and contribute to architectural decision-making
- Perform formal code reviews (peer review) to ensure compliance with development standards
- Identify areas of improvement within existing data pipelines and propose optimization strategies (continuous improvement)
- Lead incident resolution for critical ETL issues and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
- Participate in project effort estimations and planning
- Define development standards, coding guidelines, and best practices for the ETL team
- Mentor Junior and Mid-Level developers, supporting their technical growth and development
