Job Description

We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Site Administrator to support our Timberpak operation in Leeds. This is a key role responsible for ensuring the smooth running of administrative, purchasing, and reporting activities on site, while acting as a central point of contact for internal teams, suppliers, and customers.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Weighing vehicles in and out.
  • Ensuring all delivery and collection drivers have correct paperwork.
  • Ensure compliance with legislation and on-site procedures.
  • Manage day-to-day administrative functions to support site operations.
  • Operate SAP systems, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and goods receipting.
  • Maintain accurate records and produce weekly, monthly, and annual reports.
  • Liaise with internal and external drivers to ensure smooth communication.
  • Handle customer queries, including coordinating bin exchanges and providing quotations.
  • Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure smooth communication.
  • Coordinate meetings and provide administrative support, including minute taking.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and maintain office supplies.
  • Support purchasing activities and ensure cost-effective procurement of consumables.
  • Deliver basic SAP training to colleagues where required.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality, and environmental standards.


About You

 

  • Experience in an administrative or similar role, ideally within a waste management, logistics, or operational environment.
  • Experience of weighbridge operations.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience using SAP or similar systems is highly desirable.
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Confident communicator with a professional and friendly approach.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Proactive, reliable, and committed to continuous improvement.
