Title and Summary
Director, Business Development – Corporate Solutions, East SEAMastercard's Commercial & New Payment Flows (CNPF) business is focused on transforming how businesses move money. As organisations increasingly seek to digitise procurement, supplier payments, travel and expense management, and working capital processes, Corporate Solutions helps financial institutions, governments and enterprises modernise commercial payments through card-based and multi-rail solutions.Corporate Solutions works across issuing, acceptance, partnerships and product to help banks and large organisations optimise business payments across the procurement and payment lifecycle, delivering greater efficiency, visibility and control.
We are seeking a Director, Business Development – Corporate Solutions to lead our East Southeast Asia business, covering Indonesia, Vietnam and the Philippines. This role will be responsible for driving Corporate Solutions spend and revenue growth across the division through issuer partnerships, direct-to-corporate engagement and strategic business development initiatives. The successful candidate will combine strong commercial payments expertise with people leadership, stakeholder management and a proven ability to drive growth in complex environments.
Role
• Lead Mastercard's Corporate Solutions business across Indonesia, Vietnam and the Philippines, delivering growth in commercial payment spend, revenue and market penetration.
• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing regional team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous development.
• Develop and execute growth strategies that accelerate adoption of Mastercard's B2B and Travel & Expense payment solutions across East Southeast Asia.
• Build and strengthen senior relationships with issuer banks, transaction banking teams, treasury organisations and key ecosystem partners.
• Engage directly with multinational corporations, large enterprises and government organisations to identify business needs and drive adoption of Mastercard-powered solutions.
• Partner closely with Product, Partnerships, Acceptance, Account Management and other cross-functional teams to bring new solutions and commercial opportunities to market.
• Develop and execute strategic commercial opportunities, including proposals, business cases, executive presentations and RFP responses.
• Build, manage and convert a robust sales pipeline while shaping long-term market growth opportunities across East Southeast Asia.
All About You
• Significant experience within commercial payments, corporate cards, transaction banking, treasury solutions or broader B2B payments environments.
• Proven success leading business development, sales or commercial growth initiatives with measurable revenue impact.
• Strong understanding of commercial payment ecosystems and the ability to originate, grow and close opportunities with financial institutions, corporate banking and large enterprise stakeholders.
• Demonstrated success translating customer needs into commercially viable solutions while working effectively across product, technical and partner teams.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence senior executives and navigate complex organisations.
• Previous people leadership experience with a track record of building, developing and motivating high-performing teams.
• Strong commercial judgement, pipeline management discipline and the ability to operate autonomously in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, combined with curiosity, innovation and a passion for transforming commercial payments.
