Summary/Objective: The EHS Coordinator is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and maintenance of the company's environmental, health, and safety programs

The EHS Coordinator will ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies, while fostering a culture of safety and environmental responsibility within the organization

Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of EHS policies, procedures, and programs

Collaborate with various departments to ensure EHS program integration and alignment with company objectives

Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance EHS performance

Coordinate and deliver EHS training programs to educate team members on relevant EHS topics, including hazard recognition, safety procedures, and regulatory compliance

Maintain training records and ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible

Monitor and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal EHS regulations Assist with regulatory inspections, audits, and reporting

Maintain necessary permits and ensure timely renewals

Assist with incident reporting, investigations, and root cause analyses to identify corrective actions and prevent reoccurrence

Track and trend incident data to identify areas for improvement and prioritize EHS initiatives

Conduct workplace inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and non-compliances

Assist with the development and implementation of risk assessments, job hazard analyses, and corrective actions to eliminate or minimize hazards

Support the development and maintenance of emergency response plans, procedures, and training

Participate in emergency drills and exercises to ensure readiness

Working Conditions: Primarily working indoors, office environment

May sit for several hours at a time

Prolonged exposure to computer screens

Repetitive use of hands to operate computers, printers, and copiers

: Bachelor’s Degree in environmental, health, and safety, industrial hygiene, engineering, or a related field. 2-4 years of experience in an EHS role

Essential Functions: Serve as a subject matter expert on environmental, health, and safety topics

Communicate EHS performance, initiatives, and regulatory updates to team members and leadership

Encourage team member engagement in safety initiatives, programs, and incident reporting

Recognize and celebrate EHS achievements and positive behaviors within the organization

Ensure appropriate safety measures are in place for equipment, machinery, and facilities

Work with human resources and leadership to address team member accommodations and accessibility concerns

Ensure compliance with applicable accessibility regulations and best practices

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time

position

You would support a two shift operation of 150 team members with active operations M-Th: 5a-2a, Friday: 5a-10p

This is an onsite position, that requires ability to flex as needed to support various shift needs or investigations

Salaried range for this position is $70 - 85,000 Travel: There is no travel associated with this role

There may be 5% travel for training needs

Preferred Education and Experience: Marine Manufacturing experience CSP certification Work Authorization/Security Clearance: Must be authorized to work in the United States
