Description
To safely operate Jet Vac and associated industrial services equipment for the removal, cleaning, and transportation of waste materials from customer sites. The role ensures safe operation, correct equipment use, and supports the safe completion of industrial services work in line with Enva’s Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Delivery
- Assist the HGV/Jet Vac Driver with the safe set‑up, operation, and shutdown of Jet Vac equipment on customer sites.
- Operate tools, hoses, and equipment associated with industrial cleaning activities in line with training and procedures.
- Ensure all activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with site-specific RAMS.
- Support the extraction, removal, and handling of waste materials including non‑hazardous and hazardous waste (where trained).
- Carry out manual handling tasks as required to complete operational duties.
Equipment & Safety
- Ensure all equipment is checked prior to use, in safe working order, and any defects are reported immediately.
- Clean, maintain, and safely store equipment after use.
- Use all PPE as required and maintain it in a clean and serviceable condition.
- Comply with all Enva Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality policies, procedures, and safe working practices.
- Participate in toolbox talks, safety briefings, and operational training.
General & Teamwork
- Follow instructions provided by the Transport & Operations Manager or site leads.
- Work collaboratively as part of a two‑person or multi‑person Jet Vac team.
- Demonstrate flexibility in supporting overtime, weekend work, and shift patterns as operationally required.
- Undertake any additional duties appropriate to the role as business needs evolve.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Essential
- Experience operating or assisting with heavy plant, machinery, or industrial cleaning equipment.
- Experience working in physically demanding environments involving manual handling.
Desirable
- Industrial jetting / Jet Vac experience
- Working knowledge of confined space operations
- Experience working with hazardous waste or industrial services

Job Requirements
- Monday to Friday
- Rate - £14.50 per hour
- 45 hours per week
- 7.30am to 5.00pm
- Unpaid lunch break included
- 30 days annual leave inclusive of 10 public holidays
- Willingness to work overtime, additional hours or shifts as required
