Associate I - Advisory

We are seeking a talented individual to join Marsh Thailand Team. This role will be based in Bangkok. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

We will count on you to:

• Act as the lead advisory colleague on smaller, less complex books of business, managing day-to-day client relationships and delivery.
• Develop renewal and placement strategies in conjunction with the Placement team, Advisory Leader, and Client Executive, and execute those strategies according to client instructions.
• Analyze carrier quotes and prepare clear, actionable analysis for more senior Advisory colleagues and for clients to support solution development and renewals.
• Support senior Advisory colleagues in achieving business goals and responding to RFPs by conducting research and preparing documents that aid the design, development, and marketing of insurance and risk products.
• Manage follow-up with underwriters on coverage changes to ensure policy specifications accurately reflect agreed coverage.
• Build and maintain market and client contacts at the appropriate levels to execute client programs effectively.
• Contribute to the firm’s institutional knowledge by actively communicating internally and staying current with changing risk and insurance market conditions.
• Help retain clients through timely, practical risk solutions and consistent excellence in service.

What you need to have:

• Relevant degree (e.g., Finance, Risk Management, Insurance, Business) or equivalent practical experience.
• 6-10 years’ experience in insurance advisory, broking, or a related risk/placement function; experience handling renewals and placements
• Solid technical knowledge of insurance products and coverages across relevant lines; ability to read and interpret wordings, endorsements, and policy terms.
• Strong analytical skills — able to review and compare carrier quotes and produce concise recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable preparing client materials and presenting analysis to internal and external stakeholders.
• Proven ability to build relationships with clients and market contacts.
