Evening - $3.00/hour
Night - $5.00/hour
Weekend - $4.50/hour
Pharm Night - $8.50/hour
Premiums:
Standby - $4.00/hour
Lead - $3.25/hour
Per Diem - 15% (on base, in lieu of benefits)
Certification - $2.00/hour
Trainer - $2.00/hour
Student Coord - $2.00/hour, 2+ = $3.25/hour
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Cardiac Wellness Technician I
- Provide patient care and perform EKGs.
Cardiac Wellness Technician II
CWT I duties, plus ability to:
- perform Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
- assist with diagnostic stress tests.
- perform cardiac ambulatory monitor hook-ups.
- EKG PACs support (digital EKG records system)
- ambulatory monitor PACs support
- train hospital and clinic staff to perform EKG
Cardiac Wellness Technician III
CWT I and II duties, plus ability to:
- lead EKG PAC support (digital EKG records system).
- lead ambulatory monitor PAC support
- contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual Quality Assurance projects.
- perform policy review and revision.
NOTE: Advancement to Cardiac Wellness Tech II and/or III is based on the availability of a position and departmental needs.
EDUCATION
- Certified Non-Invasive Cardio-Vascular Technician, CNA, Medical Assistant, Emergency Medical Technician, or Health Care Assistant preferred.
EXPERIENCE
- Cardiology experience in a healthcare setting preferred (e.g., pre-hospital, clinic, office, or hospital).
LICENSURE/CREDENTIALS
- BLS certification required.
- ACLS required for CWT II and III.
