Objective of the position
Are you passionate about keeping supply chains running smoothly and ensuring customers receive products on time?
As a Supply Chain Planner, you will play a key role in coordinating material availability across the production process. You will be responsible for material requirements planning, managing supplier orders and demand forecasts, and maintaining optimal inventory levels to support business objectives. Working closely with suppliers, production teams, and other stakeholders, you will ensure the right materials are available at the right time, enabling efficient operations and reliable delivery performance for our customers.
Characterization of activities
- Monitor material requirements and purchasing recommendations in the ERP system, proactively adjusting plans to meet changing demand.
- Manage supplier forecasts and purchase orders to ensure timely material availability and uninterrupted production.
- Coordinate delivery schedule changes with suppliers and support negotiations to secure supply commitments.
- Plan and maintain optimal inventory levels while balancing customer demand, lead times, and stock targets.
- Maintain accurate material master data, procurement information, and inventory records within the ERP system.
- Support short- and long-term production planning activities through effective material planning and supplier coordination.
Education, Experience and Knowledge
- Secondary vocational or higher education in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field, combined with 3+ years of B2B customer service experience.
- Experience within the electronics manufacturing industry and a strong customer-focused mindset.
- Fluency in Estonian and English, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems (JDE experience is an advantage).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and prioritization skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Experience in automotive, supply chain planning, production planning, logistics operations, or additional language skills (German/Swedish) are considered a plus.
