Job Description:
• Duties: Provides dealer assistance pertaining to incorrect part numbers, substitutions, electronic parts catalog interpretations and machine usage to assure customers get correct parts.
• Assists the inventory control area by reviewing stock levels with special emphasis on newly introduced equipment.
• Coordinates the resolution of parts problems between parts distribution centers, factories, vendors and dealers regarding parts identification, mixed stock, defective stock or unshipped orders.
• Responds to dealer requests to expedite critical machine down orders through various contacts to assure customers of the timeliest delivery of parts.
• Coordinates the activities in the Customer Care area to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
• Processes Machine down Back Order reports, working with factories, depots, buyers and/or suppliers in an effort to proactively assign promise ship dates and provide customers with the earliest possible availability.
• Trains and assists dealer personnel with electronic ordering and information systems to maintain a high level of support to customers.
• Writes and prepares product bulletins for publication.
• Will be strictly doing data entry dealing with the export process – very manual.
• Attention to detail is imperative – every mistake is caught and, with a mistake, there are fines that client would incur.
• This individual will be trained on others’ roles and will be expected to provide coverage when needed, so ability to work in a team environment is important.
• Using DNS (very basic and client’s specific program) to enter data.
• Excel experience is required – intermediate user preferred.
• High school diploma/equivalent is required with 2+ years of experience.
• Schedule will be 9:30am-6pm with potential, limited OT.
• Will be required to occasionally work on the floor, but most of the work will be in the office.
• Metatarsal safety shoes are required for the role.
