Job Description

Location: Bella Vista, Sydney

Department/Function: Reliability & Maintenance

We are seeking a Calibration Technician to join a high-performing manufacturing quality team in Sydney. This is a 12-month fixed-term opportunity with potential for extension or permanency, driven by evolving business needs.

This role is ideal for someone with strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and an interest in quality, compliance, and instrumentation—prior calibration experience is not essential, as full training will be provided.

Let’s Talk About the Role

You will be responsible for supporting calibration and equipment management activities to ensure compliance with internal quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Working within a collaborative environment, you’ll play a key role in maintaining equipment accuracy, system traceability, and audit readiness across the manufacturing function.

Let’s Talk About Key Responsibilities

  • Perform calibration of measurement and test equipment (IMTE) in line with schedules and procedures

  • Support equipment registration, tracking, and lifecycle management

  • Coordinate outsourced calibrations with external vendors

  • Maintain accurate calibration records, documentation, and traceability

  • Conduct impact assessments for calibration failures and support quality documentation

  • Assist with compliance activities and audit preparation

  • Collaborate with quality, manufacturing, and planning teams to ensure calibration readiness

  • Provide general administrative support related to calibration and equipment

Let’s Talk About You

You are a detail-oriented and structured individual who enjoys hands-on technical work as well as documentation and process support.

Let’s Talk About Skills & Experience

  • Background in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related technical discipline (Diploma, Degree or equivalent experience)

  • 1–3 years’ experience in a technical, manufacturing, or maintenance environment

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to follow procedures and work in a regulated or quality-driven environment

  • Good problem-solving and logical thinking skills

  • Comfortable working both independently and within a team

What You’ll Gain?

  • Structured on-the-job training and mentoring

  • Exposure to quality systems and regulated manufacturing environments

  • Opportunity to develop skills in calibration, compliance, and equipment management

Why Apply?

This is a great opportunity for:

  • Early-career engineers or technicians looking to break into regulated manufacturing or quality

  • Technicians seeking to build specialised skills in calibration and compliance

If you're technically curious, detail-driven, and looking to grow your career in a quality-focused environment, we’d love to hear from you!
