Corning’s Environmental Technologies segment manufactures ceramic substrates and filter products for emissions control in mobile and stationary applications around the world.

 

Role Purpose

The Training Specialist is responsible for designing, coordinating, and sustaining plant-wide training programs that support employee onboarding, compliance, progression, leadership development, and operational readiness. This role will own the onboarding process, ensure annual training content is delivered and completed on time, and support broader workforce capability initiatives including automation readiness, and supervisor effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Training & Development, Education, Business, or a related field from an accredited college or university, B.S., B. A.
  • 1-2 years of experience in training and/or employee development. 

Experiences/Education - Required

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business, Organization Development or Labor Relations or equivalent qualification/experience

Experiences/Education - Desired

  • Experience in aligning training support resources to ensure effective execution of onboarding, annual training, and development initiatives.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple training priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to develop structured training programs and materials for a variety of employee groups.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and effective training delivery methods.

The range for this position is  $63,165.00 - $86,852.00  assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
