CERTIFIED JUDICIAL OFFICER

This is protective service work in providing security and maintaining order within the courthouse for judges, attorneys, witnesses, jurors, prisoners in custody, defendants on bond, and the general public. The work requires knowledge of techniques, methods and procedures used in courtroom security, which involves the use of specialized skills, or specialized equipment, which is learned on the job or through specialized training.
