Job Description
Volunteers of America is seeking a dedicated Youth Case Manager to provide outreach and case management services to youth ages 12–24 experiencing homelessness in Spokane County. This role focuses on building trusting relationships and supporting youth using a trauma-informed, client-centered approach.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide community-based outreach and case management
- Support youth with housing access, employment readiness, budgeting, and resource navigation
- Staff office hours at area high schools
- Complete Coordinated Entry assessments and referrals
- Maintain accurate documentation in HMIS and behavioral health systems
- Collaborate with schools and community partners
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in social work OR related field with 1+ year youth experience
- Eligible for Agency Affiliated Counselor (AAC) credential
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to pass background checks
- Must be at least 21 years of age
Preferred:
- Experience working with at-risk, runaway, or homeless youth
